Hai Duong Traditional Medicine Hospital has a new Deputy Director

On the morning of October 8, Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province, presented the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee appointing Comrade Pham Thanh Tung, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine, Hai Duong Traditional Medicine Hospital, to hold the position of Deputy Director of Hai Duong Traditional Medicine Hospital; term of 5 years, from October 8, 2024 to October 7, 2029.

Speaking at the assignment, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung requested the new Deputy Director of Hai Duong Traditional Medicine Hospital to continue to promote his knowledge, professional qualifications, improve medical ethics, spirit and responsibility; maintain the spirit of solidarity, unity, and coordinate with the hospital's Board of Directors to continue to successfully carry out tasks, meeting the increasing demand for medical examination and treatment of the people.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized the consolidation and addition of 1 Deputy Director to Hai Duong Traditional Medicine Hospital to increase strength and efficiency in management and operation, and improve the quality of medical examination and treatment for people in the province. He requested the Hospital Board of Directors to promptly arrange and assign tasks to members, determined to build Hai Duong Traditional Medicine Hospital strong, united, and well perform assigned tasks. Especially in the coming time, the Hospital Board of Directors needs to have solutions to build the traditional medicine sector of Hai Duong province to develop worthy of its tradition as the homeland of many famous physicians such as Tue Tinh, Nguyen Dai Nang, Hai Thuong Lan Ong... Thereby contributing significantly to the effective implementation of Decision No. 2951/QD-BYT dated July 21, 2023 of the Ministry of Health approving the "Project to develop types of traditional medicine and pharmaceutical services and products for tourists in the period 2020-2030" in Hai Duong province.

Speaking at the new assignment, comrade Pham Thanh Tung promised to continuously learn, cultivate, practice, and strive to inherit and promote the achievements and good traditions that generations of cadres, doctors, and hospital staff have worked hard to build. In the coming time, together with the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the hospital, he will focus on solidarity, unity, and promote collective intelligence to overcome all difficulties and successfully complete the political and professional tasks of the unit and the assigned fields.

Comrade Pham Thanh Tung was born in 1983, in An Thuong commune (Hai Duong city). He studied oriental and western medicine at Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (China), then studied traditional medicine and master's degree in traditional medicine at Hanoi Medical University. In 2011, comrade Tung worked at Hai Duong Traditional Medicine Hospital. Through his career from doctor to Head of Internal Medicine Department, comrade Tung has made many contributions to the department and hospital.
