Thinking there was no hope of finding the money she lost when visiting her mother-in-law at Hai Duong Traditional Medicine Hospital, Ms. Quy (Hai Duong City) received the money back half a month after it was lost.
At around 1 p.m. on June 20, Dr. Nguyen Van Quan and nurse Nguyen Thi Man (both working at the Department of Acupuncture, Wellness, and Rehabilitation, Hai Duong Traditional Medicine Hospital) found a bundle of 500,000 VND bills tied to a belt on the hospital yard. Dr. Quan and nurse Man immediately handed it over to the department to inform and find the person lost in the hospital.
However, after a week of not being able to find the person who dropped it, Dr. Quan and nurse Man brought the money to the Hai Tan Ward Police (Hai Duong City), including 63 bills worth 500,000 VND, totaling 31.5 million VND. By the afternoon of July 3, someone came to claim the money. That person was Ms. Nguyen Thi Quy, currently living in Thanh Binh Ward (Hai Duong City). Ms. Quy is the daughter-in-law of a patient being treated at Hai Duong Traditional Medicine Hospital and dropped the money while visiting her mother.
Receiving the money back after many days of losing it, Ms. Quy was very happy and thanked the doctors and nurses of Hai Duong Traditional Medicine Hospital for returning the lost item to its owner.
According to Director of Hai Duong Traditional Medicine Hospital Nguyen The Anh, these are two examples of good people, good deeds and have been commended by the hospital.
