At 11:15 a.m., Bao Tin Minh Chau Company listed the price of plain round gold rings at VND80.00-81.10 million/tael (buy/sell), an increase of VND550,000/tael. Phu Quy Company listed the price of 999.0 round gold rings at VND79.98-81.08 million/tael, an increase of VND540,000/tael compared to the opening price.
Meanwhile, the price of SJC gold remained unchanged. Specifically, Doji Company, Phu Quy Company and Saigon Jewelry Company all announced the buying price of SJC gold at VND80 million/tael and the selling price at VND82 million/tael, unchanged. In the most recent adjustment (September 20), this brand increased by VND200,000/tael.
In the world, the price of gold increased by 8 USD/ounce compared to this morning to 2,628.3 USD/ounce. This price when converted is equivalent to 78.42 million VND/tael, cheaper than the domestic SJC brand by about 3.6 million VND/tael.
By the end of this afternoon, BIDV Bank bought and sold from 24,440-24,780 VND/USD. Vietcombank listed the USD exchange rate from 24,420-24,760 VND/USD. Agribank announced from 24,430-24,770 VND/USD, unchanged from the opening price.
However, Vietinbank bought at 24,429 VND/USD and sold at 24,769 VND/USD, down 19 VND compared to this morning.
