Arrested 4 subjects transporting 34 heroin cakes in Dien Bien

On the afternoon of October 16, information from Dien Bien Provincial Police said that the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department; Mobile Police (Provincial Police) had just coordinated with the police forces of Nam Po, Muong Nhe, Muong Cha, Tua Chua districts and Muong Lay town police to successfully break up Project 924T, arresting 4 subjects for the act of buying, selling, transporting and illegally storing 34 heroin cakes.

Previously, on October 5, in Sin Chai commune, Tua Chua district, Dien Bien province, the joint forces simultaneously launched a campaign, successfully destroying Project 924T, arresting Vang A Benh (born in 1990, residing in Phin Ho B village, Phin Ho commune, Nam Po district) for illegally transporting drugs, seizing 34 heroin cakes (weighing about 11.9 kg).

Expanding the investigation, the Investigation Police Agency of Dien Bien Provincial Police continued to arrest 3 subjects: Sung A Thai (born in 1990, residing in Phin Ho B village, Phin Ho commune, Nam Po district) as the ringleader; Lau A Tinh (born in 2006, residing in Nam Vi village, Chung Chai commune, Muong Nhe district) and Thao A Son (born in 1988, residing in Pa Bun village, Hua Bun commune, Nam Nhun district, Lai Chau province) for the act of illegally buying, selling and storing drugs.

The case is being further investigated, clarified and handled by the authorities in accordance with the provisions of law.
