The Investigation Police Agency (Hai Duong Provincial Police) has issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute the accused Lo Van Toi (born in 1995 in Bung Lao commune, Muong Ang district, Dien Bien province) for the act of illegally transporting drugs.

At 6:00 a.m. on July 31, at km 58 + 900 of National Highway 5 (Hanoi - Hai Phong direction) in the residential area of ​​Vu Thuong, Ai Quoc ward (Hai Duong city), the working group of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Hai Duong Provincial Police) coordinated an inspection and discovered Lo Van Tham (born in 1988, the same hometown as Toi) receiving a bag of pineapples on a passenger bus on the Dien Bien - Hai Phong route. Upon inspection, the police force discovered that the bag contained 6 heroin bars.

The police investigation agency determined that Tham was hired by Toi to receive the goods and Tham did not know that the package contained drugs.

At the police station, Toi confessed that he used the cover of being a worker to rent a room in Ai Quoc ward, used the room as a gathering point, and then transported drugs to other provinces for consumption.
