Nghe An Provincial Police have successfully dismantled a large-scale drug trafficking ring, seizing 27 heroin cakes, 5kg of crystal meth, and 6,000 synthetic drug pills.
On the evening of July 5, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police, in coordination with the police of Thanh Chuong, Anh Son, Quy Hop districts and other professional units, successfully broke up a large-scale drug case, arrested 2 suspects, seized 27 heroin cakes, 5kg of crystal meth, 6,000 synthetic drug pills and many other related exhibits.
The ringleader of this ring is S.D.T., residing in Quy Hop district, Nghe An province. This ring transports and illegally trades drugs from abroad into the border area, then disguises them in goods and sends them by passenger buses to sell in the northern and southern provinces and the Central Highlands.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province and the Director of the Provincial Police Department have decided to reward the Task Force. The ceremony was held on the afternoon of July 6 with the participation of Mr. Bui Dinh Long, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province and Major General Bui Quang Thanh, Director of the Provincial Police Department.
