In addition to the two officers working on land inventory and compensation for resettlement of the Long Thanh airport project, the investigation agency also arrested another person as a "broker" in this case.
On the evening of November 1, Dong Nai Province Police arrested 3 people, including 2 officers working on land inventory, measurement, and resettlement compensation related to the Long Thanh airport project.
The arrested people include: Mr. NVM (officer of Long Thanh District Land Fund Center), Mr. NTB (officer of Binh Son Commune Land Administration) and a person named H. who is believed to be a "broker" in this case.
According to initial information, a resident in Long Thanh district had his land confiscated for a project. At this time, broker H. received money from this person and connected with the two officials above to promise a resettlement spot.
It is known that the above two officers were assigned by Long Thanh district to do the work of counting, measuring, and compensating for resettlement for the Long Thanh airport project.
The case is being further investigated and clarified by Dong Nai Police.
