Due to inadequate organizational structure and lack of doctors, the Traditional Medicine Hospital requests early approval of the project to rearrange the organizational structure within the hospital.
On the afternoon of June 5, continuing the thematic supervision program on human resources in the health sector, the Legal Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council supervised at Hai Duong Traditional Medicine Hospital.
At the monitoring session, Director of Hai Duong Traditional Medicine Hospital Nguyen The Anh said that the hospital's current organizational structure still has many shortcomings, not suitable for the current hospital situation. Some departments and offices are not operating effectively. The Traditional Medicine Hospital has developed a project to rearrange the internal organizational structure to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval.
Currently, Hai Duong Traditional Medicine Hospital has 17 departments and offices with a total of 205 staff members. The hospital has not yet appointed enough leaders for the Board of Directors. Some departments have not yet appointed leaders due to the lack of suitable specialized doctors such as the Department of Diagnostic Imaging, the Department of Laboratory Testing, and the Department of General Examination. There is still a shortage of highly qualified doctors, general practitioners, and individual specialists. The Traditional Medicine Hospital also lacks high-quality human resources and does not have a mechanism to recruit general practitioners, diagnostic imaging doctors, and laboratory doctors.
The Traditional Medicine Hospital requests the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Health to coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee to review and approve the project to reorganize the internal structure of the Traditional Medicine Hospital. From there, the hospital will have a basis to recruit enough doctors and nurses, reorganize the apparatus, arrange and use cadres and civil servants in accordance with the functions, tasks and powers of the unit. At the same time, it will save costs, improve facilities and income for cadres, civil servants and workers in the hospital.
