On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), Agribank organized many meaningful activities to honor people with meritorious services and take care of policy families in Ha Thanh commune, Tu Ky district (Hai Duong).
On the morning of July 27, the Trade Union of the Headquarters of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam (Agribank) organized a number of practical activities on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day in Hai Duong.
Representatives of leaders, officers and employees of Agribank, Agribank Hai Duong branch, leaders of Tu Ky district, and Ha Thanh commune association in Hai Duong city offered incense and flowers to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the martyrs cemetery of Ha Thanh commune, Tu Ky district (Hai Duong).
The Ha Thanh Commune Martyrs' Cemetery was built in 2003. After more than 20 years, the commune's martyrs' cemetery had deteriorated. With the attention and support of the province and contributions from the children of the homeland, the Ha Thanh Commune Cemetery was renovated and built spaciously. Of which, the Agribank Headquarters Trade Union donated 940 million VND.
In Ha Thanh commune, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, Deputy General Director of Agribank, presented 25 million VND to 5 policy families. Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong is from Ha Thanh commune. Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Ms. Phuong emotionally shared that the hardships and difficulties of growing up in the countryside of Ha Thanh were the motivation for her to strive and make efforts for more than 30 years accompanying the development of agriculture, farmers and rural areas.
Agribank Headquarters Trade Union also donated 10 million VND to Ha Thanh commune.
Previously, representatives of Agribank officers and employees offered incense and flowers at the martyrs' monument in Hai Duong City. This is a meaningful and practical activity of the Agribank Headquarters Trade Union on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024).
