Four Hai Duong enterprises were honored as National Brands many times in a row, including: Long Hai Company Limited, Chu Dau Ceramics Joint Stock Company, Minh Phu - Hai Duong Steel Joint Stock Company and An Phat Green Plastic Joint Stock Company.
On the evening of November 4, in a program attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, 4 Hai Duong enterprises were recognized for the second consecutive time as achieving the Vietnam National Brand. These enterprises have 7 products honored in 2024.
Of which, 3 enterprises have been recognized as National Brands for 3 consecutive times since 2020. That is Long Hai Company Limited, with products: jelly, Long Hai jelly water, Natty yogurt jelly, Lapatie Caramel jelly, Excite drinking jelly.

Minh Phu Steel Joint Stock Company - Hai Duong, with Minh Phu galvanized steel pipe products.
An Phat Green Plastic Joint Stock Company with its completely biodegradable plastic bag product AnEco has been recognized as a National Brand for the second consecutive time.
This year is the first time Hai Duong Grinding Stone Joint Stock Company has been included in the list of enterprises with products recognized as Vietnam National Brand in 2024. The company has 2 honored products: Bavia grinding stone and cutting stone.
The Vietnam National Brand Program was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 253/2003/QD-TTg dated November 25, 2003, assigning the Ministry of Industry and Trade as the standing agency, responsible for coordinating with ministries and branches to implement it.
This is a unique, long-term and specific trade promotion program of the Government to build and develop national brands by supporting businesses to build and develop strong brands in the economy to promote the image of Vietnam as a country with quality goods and services, build prestige and enhance competitiveness for Vietnamese businesses in the domestic and international markets.
The selection of products achieving the Vietnam National Brand title is held every two years in even-numbered years. The Vietnam National Brand Program 2024 is the 9th selection period.
This year, there are a total of 190 businesses, with a total of 359 products honored (see list).here).
Speaking at the event, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh pointed out that building and developing the Vietnamese national brand is a task of special importance and strategic significance, a mission of all of us with perseverance, effort and unceasing creativity; in which building a national product brand is one of the core contents.
Appreciating and warmly congratulating the efforts and important contributions of the Vietnamese business community and enterprises, especially the 190 enterprises with products achieving the National Brand in 2024, the Prime Minister said that these are all enterprises with impressive business results with a total revenue of 2.4 million billion VND in 2023, total payment to the state budget of about 150,000 billion VND, ensuring jobs for over 600,000 workers, actively participating in social security activities, contributing to promoting the country's rapid and sustainable development.
Reviewing the more than 20-year process of formation and development of the National Brand Program, the Prime Minister affirmed that the Program has both affirmed the quality of “Made in Vietnam” products and services, and affirmed the capacity, intelligence, bravery, flexibility, and creativity of Vietnamese enterprises, contributing to building a solid position in the domestic market and beautifying the two words “Vietnam” in the international market; affirming the great contribution of Vietnamese enterprises in the process of building the National Brand.
The Prime Minister emphasized that in the context of digital transformation, green transformation, and energy transformation, it is an inevitable trend; the world is gradually shifting from a traditional resource-consuming economic model to a green economy, a circular economy, and a responsible economy towards the community. Not outside of that trend, Vietnamese enterprises with their creativity can take advantage of this opportunity to rise up and play an active role in the global transformation.
Therefore, enterprises with their national brands must not only develop traditional business sectors, but also focus on attracting investment and creating breakthroughs for pioneering sectors and fields; not only rely on capital and resource exploitation as before, but must rely on science, technology, and innovation; not only promote and renew traditional growth drivers but also promote new growth drivers from the green economy, circular economy, and digital economy.
“A brand is not only an affirmation of product quality, but also a commitment to sustainable development to move forward into the Green Era,” Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh noted.
The Prime Minister pointed out that enterprises achieving National Brand in particular and the Vietnamese business community and entrepreneurs in general need to continue to promote the core values: Quality - Innovation - Creativity - Pioneering capacity; continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, attachment, for the benefit of enterprises associated with the interests of the nation and people, strive to overcome difficulties, innovate, constantly improve production and business efficiency and gradually improve competitiveness in the region and globally, contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of the country.
In the coming time, the Prime Minister requested that enterprises continuously focus on exploiting opportunities from the green growth and sustainable development trend; pioneering in the green revolution; taking advantage of the prestige of national brands, while combining product branding with the Vietnamese national brand; actively seeking and expanding international markets and participating more deeply in global supply chains.
According to the Prime Minister, the beautiful image of each national brand will be a beautiful image of the brand of the country, traditions, culture and people of Vietnam, especially in the context of the world promoting commitments on emission reduction and climate change prevention, businesses need to proactively switch to green production models, using renewable energy and environmentally friendly technology.
The Head of Government requested to continuously improve modern management capacity; apply advanced, transparent and healthy management standards; focus on sustainability in production. Promote digital transformation, green transformation; proactively innovate production and business models, restructure enterprises associated with the development of green economy, digital economy, circular economy, contributing to enhancing brand reputation, creating strong trust in product and service quality for consumers.
Along with that, constantly innovate, create, develop and apply science and technology to improve labor productivity and business efficiency; proactively and effectively integrate, especially in the context of the digital age and the Fourth Industrial Revolution; apply advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, Internet of Things, cloud computing, automation in production to minimize negative impacts on the environment, proactively enter the green era; continue to cultivate political and professional qualities; comply with legal regulations; be proactive and take the lead on the socio-economic development front; have great ambitions and aspirations for development, become a model of entrepreneurial spirit, honest, humane and responsible business; further strengthen information and communication work; protect copyright and brand value.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh pointed out that enterprises must focus on training high-quality human resources with good skills, deep expertise, international qualifications and professional work, promptly serving the requirements of production and business development; promoting the application of science and technology, innovation and integration in all fields; continuing to strengthen the connection of the network of Vietnamese talents and intellectuals at home and abroad; focusing on building and improving corporate and entrepreneurial culture; ensuring full material and spiritual benefits for workers.
“Enterprises must value intelligence and time; integrate the core values of business ethics and social responsibility into their long-term development strategies with environmental protection and community development; actively participate in hunger eradication and poverty reduction programs, repay gratitude, support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and epidemics; further promote national spirit and patriotism associated with corporate culture, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc,” the Prime Minister noted.
Emphasizing that the 13th Congress has set the task of "Developing a large and strong team of entrepreneurs in terms of quantity and quality, with a spirit of dedication to the nation, with progressive cultural and ethical standards and good management and business skills..."; stating that our country is focusing on implementing 3 strategic breakthroughs to serve socio-economic development, including the development of enterprises, the Prime Minister called on enterprises to make full use of the opportunities brought about by the Fourth Industrial Revolution to promote the process of growth model innovation, economic restructuring associated with implementing strategic breakthroughs and modernizing the country, thereby striving to achieve the goal of green and sustainable growth.
Believing that the success and development of the business community is a measure of the success of the State's management and administration, the Prime Minister said that the Government understands, shares, listens and will continue to have support solutions to remove difficulties, create maximum conditions for businesses to develop; continue to perfect policy mechanisms, reform administrative procedures, improve the investment and business environment - considering removing bottlenecks and barriers that cause difficulties for businesses as an important political task of all levels, sectors and localities.
Emphasizing that in order to achieve the goals of Vietnam being a developing country by 2030 with modern industry and high average income, and by 2045, in the coming years, Vietnam must achieve a double-digit growth rate, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade, as the focal agency in charge of implementing the Vietnam National Brand Program, to closely coordinate with ministries, branches and localities to receive proposals and recommendations from enterprises, create favorable conditions and support for the business community; continue to propose and advise on creating a favorable, transparent and highly competitive legal environment in the region and globally; eliminate the "ask-give" mechanism, cut and simplify administrative procedures, improve the investment and business environment; prioritize emerging industries and fields, and remove difficulties for investment and business.
Along with that, promote activities to develop, expand and diversify export markets, diversify supply chains, support the connection of domestic and foreign enterprises, associated with supporting the construction, management and development of product brands, business, industry and national brands, thereby contributing to improving the competitiveness of the country, industry, enterprise and products.
With a high sense of responsibility, with the spirit and confidence of the whole country and the Vietnamese business community, the Prime Minister believes that in the coming time, there will be many enterprises that meet the criteria of the National Brand Program.
The Prime Minister said that the success of entrepreneurs and businesses is also the success of the country, contributing to building the image of Vietnam as a green, creative and powerful developing country on the world map, marking the era of Vietnam's rise in the new era.
The Vietnamese business community, with the core being enterprises with products achieving national brands, needs to continue to join hands, be unanimous, and strive to compete towards the goal of turning our country into a developing country with modern industry and high average income by 2030 and a developed country with high income by 2045 as set out by the 13th National Party Congress.
The Prime Minister suggested that each entrepreneur demonstrate the spirit of solidarity, self-reliance, self-confidence, self-reliance, national pride, and the desire to rise up through concrete actions, together bringing the country into a new stage of development, catching up with trends, and preparing a mindset ready to enter a new era, which is the Era of Rising Up of the Vietnamese people.
