Nikocado Avocado Shocks the Internet with New Look |
Nicholas Perry, also known as Nikocado Avocado, is a famous social media phenomenon. Perry owns a YouTube channel with 3.9 million subscribers, where he makes mukbang videos (participants eat large amounts of food on camera) and attracts a huge number of viewers.
Since 2016, clips of Perry bingeing have attracted the attention of YouTube viewers. As a result, he has suffered from eating disorders, obesity, high blood pressure, and diabetes. After 8 years, the YouTuber weighs about 160 kg, more than 100 kg heavier than the first day of making clips.
However, the latest video posted on Nikocado Avocado's channel surprised everyone when he appeared with a slim figure, which was certainly impossible when the last video he posted was only 7 months ago.
The shocking video, titled “Two Steps Ahead,” has garnered more than 29 million views as of the morning of September 9. In it, Perry says he “pranked” the entire internet and that everything he’s done for the past eight years has been a “social experiment.”
"This is the greatest social experiment of my life. It's fascinating to watch all these lost souls roam the internet looking for stories, for ideas, to pry into my life," Perry said.

Nicholas Perry has been criticized by many people for his offensive, clickbait content. |
The video also serves as a response to the online community, as Perry insinuatedly called his followers “ants” and mocked them for commenting on his overweight appearance.
“I am the villain because I have made myself the villain. And you will continue to consume these stories about me. Just yesterday, people were calling me fat, sick, and boring. These stories infect the minds of ants. You are the ants,” he continued.
In another video, posted on his own YouTube channel, Perry explained how he fooled the online community for so long.
He hasn't made a video in 2 years and has been secretly losing weight. The content posted during this time was actually continuously filmed and prepared by Perry to maintain the channel while working out.
The revelation became a social media phenomenon, with many viewers surprised by the YouTuber's dramatic transformation.
“This is almost unbelievable, he played us,” the YouTuber commented.
“Nikocado Avocado, you have my utmost respect. You fooled the internet for 2 years,” another wrote.
In 2020, the Nikocado Avocado channel was accused of abusive behavior by many people. Viewers at the time criticized Perry for her offensive tricks aimed at “cheap” views.
Nick's 57-minute mukbang clip records the entire process of him being sick and eating large amounts of fast food like french fries and hamburgers.
In other vlogs, Nick also has many strange actions, making content about arguing with his boyfriend, overeating... or even titled his mukbang series "My New Diet As A Disabled Person".
“Everything is scripted. What you see on the screen is completely exaggerated to get clicks,” admits Nikocado Avocado.
In the following years, Perry's health became a subject of controversy after a series of disturbing videos about his eating habits. In some of the videos, he was seen wearing a respirator.
“I can’t sleep because it feels like my digestive tract is on fire. I might have to give up making mukbang clips when I’m in my 30s,” he said.
