The first commune in Kim Thanh to meet model new rural standards

On the morning of April 20, Kim Anh commune (Kim Thanh, Hai Duong) held a ceremony to receive the title of model new rural commune in 2022. This is the first locality in Kim Thanh district to reach the model new rural finish line.

Comrade Bui Van Thang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, awarded the certificate of recognition of the commune meeting the model new rural standards to representatives of the Party Committee, government and people of Kim Anh commune.

From 2020 to now, with support from superiors, Kim Anh commune has called on people in the commune to contribute and mobilize socialized resources of 45 billion VND to upgrade and expand a number of intra-field roads, asphalt 5.3 km of rural roads, build a swimming pool and a 3-storey 9-room primary school building, a 2-storey 4-room Le Do kindergarten building and a number of social welfare projects.

By the end of 2023, the average income per capita of the whole commune will reach 75.24 million VND, the number of poor households will decrease to 0.9%. Up to now, all 3 levels of education have achieved and maintained the title of national standard school level 2...

On December 29, 2023, the Provincial People's Committee decided to recognize Kim Anh commune as meeting the model new rural standards in 2022.

Leaders of Kim Thanh District People's Committee presented flowers to congratulate and give funding to support the locality.

On this occasion, the Steering Committee of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in Kim Thanh district allocated 5 billion VND to support Kim Anh commune to complete and improve the criteria.

Chairman of Kim Thanh District People's Committee commended 2 collectives and 5 individuals of Kim Anh commune for their outstanding achievements in the movement to build model new rural areas.
