If the set target is achieved, by the end of 2024, Hai Duong will have 91 communes meeting advanced new rural standards and 32 communes meeting model new rural standards.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hai Duong province, in 2024, the province strives to have 27 more communes recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards, and 23 communes meeting model new rural standards. 100% of communes meeting new rural, advanced new rural, and model new rural standards in the 2010-2020 period meet the standards of the set of criteria for the 2021-2025 period.
The provincial budget is expected to support the implementation of new rural construction in 2024 at 191.3 billion VND, including 180 billion VND of development investment capital and 11.3 billion VND of public service capital.
By early March 2024, Hai Duong had 64 communes meeting advanced new rural standards and 9 communes meeting model new rural standards.
