"King of invention" Pham Van Hat (Tu Ky) won the 10th Agricultural Technical Innovation Contest

On October 3, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union will hold an award ceremony for the 10th Farmers’ Technical Innovation Contest. Hai Duong has a product that won the consolation prize. That product is “Water pump equipment to create oxygen in aquaculture” by Mr. Pham Van Hat in Kim Doi village, Ngoc Ky commune (Tu Ky).

The advantage of the oxygen-generating water pump in aquaculture is that it consumes little electricity but can pump 30 m³ of water per hour and push water 15 m away. The device does not sink underwater, ensuring safety for the user as well as prolonging the product's lifespan. This device saves 2/3 of the electricity bill, and the water circulation is double that of some similar products on the market. The selling price is less than 1 million VND, which is only 30% of the price of similar products. Mr. Hat has registered the copyright for this product.

Mr. Hat is known as the "king of invention", creating many types of machines for agricultural production. His products are widely sold in domestic and foreign markets.

Mr. Hat is the second person from Hai Duong to win the Agricultural Technical Innovation Contest, after Mr. Pham Van Quat in Bang Bo village, Cao Thang commune (Thanh Mien) with the solution "Producing hybrid carp breeds, improving reproductive capacity and hatching rate in artificial reproduction for carp".
