Gia Loc Youth supports building a second "team member shelter" for disadvantaged students

On the afternoon of January 6, Gia Loc District Youth Union coordinated with the Young Pioneer Council and Gia Khanh Secondary School to hand over the "young pioneer home" to Pham The Anh.

Gia Loc District Youth Union representative presented a plaque to support funding for house building for The Anh and her children.

Pham The Anh is a 7th grade student at Gia Khanh Secondary School, living with his mother, Pham Thi Duyen. His family is a near-poor household in the commune.

Since I was a child, I have had joint pain and difficulty walking. Every day, my mother has to take me to school.

Ms. Duyen (born in 1972) has kidney disease and poor health, so her job is unstable.

Her family's house was dilapidated and there were no conditions to repair it.

The new house is 70 square meters wide, with a construction cost of nearly 300 million VND. Of which, the Standing Committee of the District Youth Union and the District Pioneer Council supported over 60 million VND. Staff, teachers and students of Gia Khanh Secondary School donated over 18 million VND...

This is the second house in 2022, Gia Loc District Youth Union coordinates with schools to help students in difficult circumstances.
