Quang Minh Primary School recently organized an exchange of 'Young Champion' at the national relic of Hau Bong family in Quang Duc commune (Gia Loc, Hai Duong).
The program had the participation of 250 outstanding students, representing 600 students of Quang Minh Primary School. This is the second year Quang Minh Primary School has maintained this creative and useful activity. Quang Minh Primary School is also the only unit in Gia Loc district to organize the 'Young Champion' exchange at the village communal house.
Participating in the exchange, 70 contestants had to go through 4 rounds: warm-up, overcoming obstacles, acceleration and finishing. Contestants competed to answer questions related to knowledge about culture, history of relics, scenic spots of Gia Loc and Hai Duong districts; knowledge about history, literature, geography, mathematics, English, information technology, etc.
Each question, the contestant has 10 seconds to think and answer. The last remaining contestant on the stage will be the winner and receive the title of Trạng Nguyên, Bằng Nhiên, Hoàng Giáp, and Tiến sĩ.
Participating in the exchange, students learned about the tradition of mandarin examinations in the East with typical cultural features such as: incense offering ceremony to the village's tutelary god, the Vinh quy bai to ceremony of the first-ranked scholar...
The exchange program has practical significance, contributing to educating love for the homeland and country; helping students innovate learning methods, increasing opportunities for practical learning experiences and flexible application of knowledge; creating a useful playground for students to demonstrate their talents and creativity.
