In organic rice areas, farmers mainly plant ST25, J02, glutinous rice and some high-quality rice varieties in the renovated areas in the fields.

In the winter-spring crop of 2024, the average yield of the district's organic rice area will reach about 48 quintals/ha, equal to nearly 80% of the yield of rice in conventional production areas, but the price is twice as high.

Tu Ky district is supporting An Thanh commune to complete the dossier to establish An Thanh commune Organic Agricultural Service Cooperative to guide households participating in the model on science and technology, consumption and orientation for sustainable organic production development.

The district continues to mobilize farmers to expand the area of organic rice production combined with the exploitation of earthworms and crabs, increasing this area to 700 hectares by 2025.
