"According to initial verification by authorities, the incident occurred while the victim was making fireworks at home," said the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai City.
In the days leading up to Lunar New Year, many tragic accidents caused by homemade firecrackers have caused public concern. The main reason is that students are curious and follow instructional videos on social media.
To prevent tragic consequences from the manufacture of firecrackers, authorities need to strictly handle the acts of buying and selling illegal explosives and firecrackers. At the same time, schools and parents need to pay attention, detect and promptly prevent their children from making firecrackers according to instructions on social networks to avoid unfortunate consequences.
