For the act of producing firecrackers, N.D.H. (born in 2007, in Toan Thang commune, Gia Loc, Hai Duong), a 12th grade student, was prosecuted.
Previously, at around 6:05 p.m. on January 13, at N.D.H.'s house in Toan Thang commune, Gia Loc district police discovered and caught H. red-handed hiding 10.097 kg of finished firecrackers and raw materials used to illegally produce firecrackers. At the time of arrest, H. confessed that he was hiding the firecrackers to sell for profit.
Gia Loc District Police said that the ingredients (sodium, potassium, sulfur, glitter powder, slow-burning fuse...) were ordered by H. on social networks. To mix and create explosives, H. learned from instructional videos on YouTube channels.
During the process of producing and making fireworks, H. used his personal Tiktok page to post advertisements, sell fireworks materials, or explosive fireworks for profit.
After completing the file, on January 16, the Investigation Police Agency of Gia Loc District Police initiated a case and prosecuted N.D.H. for the crime of manufacturing and trading in prohibited goods, and applied the measure of prohibiting him from leaving his place of residence.
