Hanoi National University of Education accepts exam results from other schools for admission consideration.

Tuoi Tre Newspaper's 2021 Admissions and Career Counseling Day program was held at Hanoi University of Science and Technology on April 11.

In addition to directly recruiting candidates according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), Hanoi National University of Education will recruit students according to the following four methods.

Method of using 2021 high school graduation exam results for admission

This method considers admission by industry, from top to bottom until the quota is met based on the total score of the 3 subjects.

For majors in the group of educational sciences and teacher training: According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

For non-pedagogical majors: Total admission score according to the combination is from 15.0 points or higher (including priority points for subjects and region if any).

Admission method for excellent students, specialized school students, candidates with international certificates

Candidates who graduated from high school in 2021 must have good conduct in all semesters, have excellent academic performance in all 3 years of high school and must satisfy one of the following conditions:

a.1. Candidates who are students of provincial/municipal teams or teams of specialized high schools affiliated with universities are eligible to participate in the national excellent student exam.

a.2. Candidates are students who won first, second, or third prizes in provincial/municipal excellent student competitions at high school level.

a.3. Candidates are students of specialized high schools or high schools affiliated with Hanoi National University of Education and Ho Chi Minh City National University of Education.

a.4. Candidates with international English certificates IELTS or TOEFL iBT or TOEIC, French certificates DELF or TCF, international IT certificates MOS. Specific regulations for each major see section 1.6.

Admission principles: Admission will be considered in order of priority starting from subject a.1. If there are still vacancies, candidates in subjects a.2, a.3, a.4 will be considered in order until the quota is full. For candidates in subjects a.2 to a.4, the average score for the entire year of grades 10, 11, 12 of the subject or subject group at high school level will be considered according to the regulations of each industry.

High school transcript admission method

For majors in the group of educational sciences and teacher training: Candidates must be high school graduates in 2021 with good conduct in all semesters of high school and 3 years of excellent academic performance. For French pedagogy, if the candidate is a bilingual French student, the academic requirement is good in grade 12; for technology pedagogy, the academic requirement is good in grade 12.

For non-pedagogical fieldsCandidates are high school graduates in 2021 with good conduct in all semesters and academic performance in 3 years of high school.
