According to the NMC, in the 24 hours from 8:00 a.m. on November 25 to 8:00 a.m. on November 26, a snowstorm will sweep through many areas of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning provinces. Some areas in Liaoning will see 20-25 mm of snowfall during this period.

In the face of extreme weather conditions, the agency advises residents and visitors to exercise extreme caution when traveling, especially when participating in traffic. Snowstorms can cause slippery roads, limited visibility, and accidents. The agency also calls on local authorities to take precautions to ensure the safety of roads, railways, electricity and telecommunications.

On the same day, the NMC also extended the yellow warning for cold air as temperatures in most areas in central and northern China are forecast to drop by 6-10 degrees Celsius in the next four days.

China's warning system consists of four color-coded levels, with red being the most severe warning, followed by orange, yellow and blue.
