National Day in 2025 is scheduled to be on September 2 and the day immediately preceding it. The four-day holiday includes two official days and two weekend days, from August 30 to Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

The remaining three holidays are implemented according to the provisions of the Labor Code, New Year's Day is one day off on Wednesday, January 1, 2025; Hung King's Commemoration Day (10th day of the 3rd lunar month) is on Monday, April 7, 2025, the holiday lasts three days (April 5-7, 2025).

According to the drafting agency, the extended holiday will help workers have time to regenerate their labor, stimulate tourism, and promote economic growth.

The 2019 Labor Code stipulates that based on actual conditions each year, the Prime Minister will decide on specific Lunar New Year and National Day holidays. If an official holiday coincides with a weekly day off, the principle of contiguity or swapping will be applied so that people can have an extended holiday.
