Hai Duong City People's Committee has just proposed to the Provincial People's Committee an investment plan for the Project to build a regulating lake and internal traffic roads for the park south of Ring Road I (Vo Van Kiet Avenue).
The project has a total estimated investment of over VND 338 billion from the provincial budget and other legal support sources. The project implementation area is in Tan Hung ward and Gia Xuyen commune (Hai Duong city) with an area of over 48 hectares, implemented in the period 2024-2027. The project aims to concretize the zoning plan for the area south of Ring Road I, at a scale of 1/2,000, including land use functions such as parks, trees, water surfaces, and urban traffic.
In terms of investment scale, the project will dig and create a landscape lake with a water surface area of about 4.98 hectares, build 1.27 km of main traffic roads and 2.65 km of internal roads around the lake. In addition, there will be a green isolation area of about 2.31 hectares and a nursery garden of 5.15 hectares.
Currently, Hai Duong City only has one Bach Dang park, about 26 hectares wide. Investing in building more green parks is necessary to create a space for recreation and entertainment for the people.
