VTV General Director Le Ngoc Quang holds the position of Secretary of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee

On the morning of October 31, Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

Attending the event were Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Commission Le Minh Hung, leaders of Quang Binh and Quang Ninh provinces and Vietnam Television.

At the conference, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission Hoang Dang Quang announced the Politburo's Decision approving the transfer of Mr. Le Ngoc Quang (Party Central Committee member, General Director of Vietnam Television) to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

On behalf of the Politburo, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung presented the Decision and congratulated Mr. Le Ngoc Quang on his new responsibility.

At the ceremony, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung said that in order to ensure the direct, comprehensive, regular and continuous leadership of the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Party Central Committee over the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, the Politburo decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Le Ngoc Quang (Member of the Party Central Committee, General Director of Vietnam Television) to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

According to the Head of the Central Organizing Committee, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang received basic training and worked in many positions at Vietnam Television. During his work, no matter what position he held, he was always dedicated, made efforts, and strived to improve himself, achieving many excellent results and making positive contributions to the agency and unit.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee hopes that, upon receiving the important task in Quang Binh province, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang will quickly grasp the situation of the province, continue to promote his experience and capacity, focus on solving difficulties and problems; unite, together with the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, strive to lead the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress, making the homeland of General Vo Nguyen Giap increasingly developed.

Mr. Le Ngoc Quang expressed his deep gratitude to the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Organizing Committee for trusting him and assigning him the important responsibility of the Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee. At the same time, he promised to promote the strengths of the locality, make efforts and strive to fulfill the assigned tasks; together with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee, promote the spirit of solidarity and unity, continue to successfully implement the goals of the Party Congress Resolution and the Resolution of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Congress.

Mr. Le Ngoc Quang was born in 1974, his hometown is Thanh Hoa province. He has held the following positions: Deputy Head of the News Department of Vietnam Television; Head of the News Department of Vietnam Television; Permanent Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television. At the 13th National Congress of the Party, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang was elected as a member of the 13th Party Central Committee, term 2021-2026.
