At the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and his wife, on the morning of November 21, General Secretary To Lam and his wife Ngo Phuong Ly and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation left Hanoi for an official visit to Malaysia from November 21 to 23, 2024.

The visit is an important milestone in the Vietnam-Malaysia relationship, contributing to consolidating the foundation of political trust between the two countries at a high level, demonstrating the consistent policy of the Party and State of Vietnam to always attach importance to and wish to further strengthen relations with neighboring and regional countries, including Malaysia.
At the same time, Vietnam wishes to work with Malaysia to bring the relationship of trust and effective cooperation between the two countries to a new stage at a higher and more practical level, meeting the development requirements of the two countries in the new period.
