The highest Tet bonus in Binh Duong is 375 million VND belonging to a foreign-invested enterprise, while the lowest is nearly 5 million VND.
The information was announced by Mr. Pham Van Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Duong province on the afternoon of December 14. Thus, the highest and lowest bonuses in this locality have both increased compared to last year (respectively 366 million VND and 4.68 million VND).
Accordingly, when reviewing and synthesizing the 2024 Tet salary and bonus situation at 1,771 enterprises in the area employing more than 323,600 workers, 95 enterprises have not had a Tet bonus plan, 1,676 have reported.
For businesses that have reported, on New Year's Day 2025, the highest bonus is expected to be 368 million VND for an individual working in a foreign-invested enterprise (FDI) in an industrial park. Meanwhile, the lowest is 200,000 VND and the average is 750,000 VND.
For Tet At Ty, the highest bonus of 375 million VND also belonged to an individual working in an FDI enterprise in an industrial park, while the lowest was 4.96 million VND and the average was 8.77 million VND.
For enterprises with 100% state capital, the highest Tet bonus is 50.5 million VND, the lowest is 5.6 million VND and the average is 12.78 million VND.
Regarding the actual salary paid (calculated monthly) in 2024 by enterprises to local workers, the highest salary is 417 million VND for an individual working in an FDI enterprise, while the lowest is 4.96 million VND and the average is 8.9 million VND.
Mr. Tuyen added that the provincial labor department is coordinating with monitoring units, requesting businesses to promptly publicly notify employees about salary and bonus payment plans as well as other allowances and support during Tet...
Besides Binh Duong, there are currently a few localities that have announced Tet bonuses for businesses such as Ha Giang with the highest level of nearly 110 million VND, the lowest level of 300,000 VND per person. Dak Lak has the highest bonus level of 94 million VND, the lowest level of 200,000 VND.
December 15 is the deadline for localities to report on the situation of wages and bonuses for the New Year and Lunar New Year as requested by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. The local Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs is responsible for notifying businesses and grassroots unions to develop a plan for Tet bonuses, grasp the situation of actual wages paid, unpaid wages, and support parties in resolving labor disputes.
