Mr. Le Van Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Quang Nam province, was approved for the election results of the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province for the 2021-2026 term.
On July 3, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 585/QD-TTg approving the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province for the 2021-2026 term.
According to the above Decision, Mr. Le Van Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Quang Nam province, was approved for the election results of the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province for the 2021-2026 term.
The Decision takes effect from July 3, 2024.
* Previously, on the morning of June 21, the People's Council of Quang Nam province, term X, 2021-2026, held the 23rd session to carry out the personnel work process according to its authority. Mr. Le Van Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Nam province, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, term 2021-2026 with 100% of the votes.
Mr. Le Van Dung was born in 1966, his hometown is Hiep Duc district, Quang Nam province. He has a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics and a bachelor's degree in political theory. Mr. Le Van Dung has held the following positions: Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Hiep Duc District People's Council; Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; Deputy Head, then Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee.
In 2019, he was appointed to the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee.
In 2021, Mr. Dung was elected to the 15th National Assembly. He was also assigned as Head of the Party Cell and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Nam province.
