On December 18, a leader of Chi Linh City (Hai Duong) said that regarding the case of MA, born in 2007, living in Trai Ne residential area (An Lac ward), a 12th grade student who was assaulted by his father and uncle, the authorities had successfully organized a mediation.

At the mediation session, representatives of both families pledged to end the dispute and create the most favorable conditions for MA to stabilize her mental health. MA has also returned to class. MA's mother, who is abroad, has also proactively removed all previous social media posts related to the incident.

MA was temporarily raised by the mother's uncle, as the uncle's family has 3 siblings of the same age, so that the child can quickly stabilize mentally.

Previously, on December 9, due to some family problems, MA was beaten by his father and uncle while at his grandmother's house in Trai Ne residential area. MA's parents are divorced and both have married other people.

Upon receiving the information, the Party Committees, authorities, and mass organizations of Chi Linh City promptly took action, coordinated to thoroughly handle the situation, and protect children's rights.
