Lacking protective railings, the shore of Co Khi Lake (Hai Duong City) is potentially dangerous, especially for the elderly and children.

Many long sections around Co Khi Lake (Hai Duong City) lack protective railings, posing a risk of accidents and drowning (photo taken at 5:30 p.m. on January 22)

Mechanical Lake in Le Thanh Nghi Ward (Hai Duong City) is quite wide and deep. The government has long built a protective railing several hundred meters long in the southern part of the lake. However, this safety measure has not been implemented yet. For safety, some households in the southern part of the lake have pooled their own money to hire welders to build the railing.

Some households contributed money to build railings, but there is still a long stretch of empty lake shore (photo taken at 5:35 p.m. on January 22).

There is still a long stretch of the eastern area (adjacent to the Commercial - Service - Entertainment Complex project) and the western area of the lake, approximately 300 m, without protective railings. This lake shore also lacks an electric lighting system.

Every day, the road around the lake is where people walk, play, and exercise. If the lack of railings on the shore of Co Khi Lake continues, the risk of accidents and drowning will increase.
