On the afternoon of May 2, the Steering Committee for summer activities and the 2024 Hai Duong province youth volunteer campaign met to agree on the activity plan and assign tasks to members.

Concluding the conference, comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for summer activities and youth volunteer campaigns in Hai Duong province, requested the standing agency, the Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union, to review and add representatives of relevant departments and branches to the Steering Committee. Review the targets in the summer activity plan to be appropriate, closely following the political tasks of the province such as in the fields of digital transformation, building civilized urban areas, advanced new rural areas, new-style new rural areas, drowning prevention, traffic safety, propaganda of civilized lifestyles, youth start-ups, environmental protection, etc.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the members of the Steering Committee to closely follow the assigned tasks, based on the functions of each unit, coordinate effectively to carry out summer activities and youth volunteer campaigns.

Summer activities and youth volunteer campaign of Hai Duong province in 2024 with the theme "Hai Duong youth pioneering creativity - pioneering innovation" will take place from May to the end of August. The whole province strives to have 50,000 union members and youths participating in volunteer activities; support digital capacity building for at least 80,000 youths and people. Organize career and employment counseling for at least 5,000 union members and youths; introduce jobs to at least 2,500 youths; support at least 5,000 children in difficult circumstances; 15,000 youths and youths participate in activities to support the improvement of foreign language skills...

The new point of this year's youth volunteer campaign is to focus on establishing youth volunteer groups, teams, and groups; all activities are carried out according to the digital transformation trend, promoting propaganda and education on cyberspace...
