Hai Duong rower contributes to the third medal of the Vietnamese sports delegation

In the final match of the women's 4 sculls rowing event, heavy double oar, which just ended at 10 a.m. on September 25, Vietnamese rowers won another valuable bronze medal for the Vietnamese sports delegation at this year's ASIAD.

Entering the final, Vietnamese rowers including Bui Thi Thu Hien, Luong Thi Thao, Nguyen Thi Giang and Pham Thi Thao achieved a time of 6 minutes 54 seconds 84. The gold medal in this event belonged to the host team China, the Iranian rowers won the silver medal.

Nguyen Thi Giang is from Hai Duong, born in 1989, and is a member of the national team.

Thus, up to this point, the Vietnamese sports delegation has won 3 bronze medals at ASIAD 19, the largest sports arena in Asia. The two bronze medals won on September 24 belonged to the rowing event of women's quadruple sculls and taekwondo.

At this year's ASIAD, Hai Duong contributed 6 athletes and 4 coaches to the national teams in the following sports: rowing, canoeing, shooting and table tennis.
