All Hai Duong farmers have access to clean water.

The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just approved the results of the set of indicators for monitoring and evaluating clean water in rural areas of Hai Duong province until the end of 2023. Accordingly, the rate of households using clean water in rural areas of the province will reach 100%.

*100% of centralized water supply works in the province operate sustainably.*

The rate of households using clean water that meets standards is 99.5%; 100% of poor households use hygienic water and nearly 98% of poor households use clean water that meets standards; 100% of centralized water supply works operate sustainably.

According to the Center for Clean Water and Rural Environmental Sanitation (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development), in Hai Duong there are 73 centralized water supply works with a total capacity of about 150,000 m³/day and night. Of which, 100% of the works operate sustainably. In general, the centralized water supply works that have been built have small capacity, but up to now, most of them have operated effectively, reaching 70-100% of the designed capacity. The quality of commercial water sources supplied to the people is strictly controlled according to local technical standards through periodic and unscheduled testing by the Provincial Center for Disease Control.
