The Provincial Youth and Children's Creativity Contest needs to be spread more widely, as an activity to promote the thinking and creativity of students in Hai Duong province.
On the morning of October 26, the Organizing Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Youth, Adolescents and Children's Creativity Contest concluded the 18th Provincial Youth, Adolescents and Children's Creativity Contest (2023-2024) and launched the 19th contest (2024-2025).
Attending and directing the closing ceremony were comrades: Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations Pham Ngoc Linh, Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee affirmed that after 18 times of organization, the contest has increasingly spread widely, affirming the thinking capacity, intellectual potential, ability to acquire scientific knowledge, and self-mastery of young people, teenagers and children in the province.
This year, many models and products applying artificial intelligence technology demonstrated novelty, creativity, applicability, and socio-economic efficiency, especially the ability to solve practical requirements.
In order for the 19th Provincial Youth and Children's Creativity Contest to be practical and effective, attracting more and more creative ideas from the young generation, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung requested the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations to closely coordinate with the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Youth Union and related agencies and units to continue to propose solutions to maintain and improve the quality and effectiveness of the creative movement in the coming time, with more high-quality solutions to compete.
Sectors need to coordinate well in promoting and launching the contest on mass media, posting content on the websites of departments and sectors, disseminating the program, plan, and rules of the contest so that students and schools can easily access the contest.
Youth Union organizations, teams, educational institutions, and schools need to promote emulation movements in learning and creative work, creating conditions for students to research and implement valuable technical initiatives and creative solutions to serve learning, production, and life.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the youth, teenagers and children in the province continue to respond to the 19th contest, seek creativity from the smallest tasks, boldly and confidently participate in the contest with all their passion for creativity.
Hai Duong students, along with students across the country, compete to study, work, and create, quickly acquire scientific knowledge, quickly apply scientific and technological advances to real life, and make worthy contributions to the cause of building a rich and beautiful homeland and country.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 1 collective and 2 individuals; the Department of Education and Training and Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union awarded many certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in propaganda and mobilization work to organize the contest.
This year, the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Youth, Adolescent and Children's Creativity Contest received 126 models and products. As a result, the Organizing Committee selected 36 outstanding models to award prizes including: 1 first prize, 5 second prizes, 10 third prizes and 20 consolation prizes.
The Organizing Committee has proposed and selected a number of models and products that have won high prizes and are valuable to submit to the 20th National Youth and Children's Creativity Contest (2023-2024).
As a result, Hai Duong has a model "Creating and preserving the cultural colors of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups using wood, scraps of fabric and paintings" by a group of authors from Chu Van An Primary School, Chi Linh City, under the guidance of teacher Hoang Thi Nhai, winning third prize. This is the second consecutive year that Chu Van An Primary School has had a product that won a national prize.
