According to the leader of the People's Committee of Kim Son district (Ninh Binh), the explosion occurred at around 5:00 p.m. on December 7, in Tay Tho hamlet, Van Hai commune, causing a level 4 house to collapse.
The leader of Kim Son District Police said: "The autopsy has not been completed yet, however, the authorities have determined that two people died. Both were female and were hired by a young man. The cause of the explosion is suspected to be firecrackers."
After the explosion, Kim Son District Police and Ninh Binh Provincial Police quickly secured the scene to facilitate the investigation. The investigation of the scene was carried out urgently by the authorities, taking place from yesterday afternoon to this morning.
"Initially, the authorities determined that the level 4 house was not operating for business. The young man was suspected of buying fireworks online to make his own. The authorities have detained a young man named Linh (27 years old, in Binh Minh town, Kim Son district), who hired two women to work, for investigation," said the leader of Kim Son district police.
