Multiple accidents at a red light on Highway 5, Kim Thanh district, 3 people injured

At about 2:50 p.m. on May 26, at km 64+590 of National Highway 5 in Co Dung Commune (Kim Thanh, Hai Duong), a traffic accident occurred between 2 cars and 1 motorbike, injuring 3 people.

At that time, Mr. PNQ, born in 1992, in Nam Thang commune, Nam Truc district (Nam Dinh) was driving a tractor 15C-056.65 pulling a trailer 15R-050.41 on National Highway 5, in the direction of Hanoi - Hai Phong. When reaching km 64 + 590 in Co Dung commune, he crashed into the back of a car 15C-396.16 driven by Ms. PTH, born in 1985, in Vinh Niem ward, Le Chan district (Hai Phong city) who was waiting at a red light. In the car was NVH, born in 2004 (in Vinh Niem ward).

After the collision, the tractor-trailer pushed the car overturned, colliding with the motorbike 34B4-307.61 of Mr. C.D.CN, born in 1999, in Tan Dan ward (Kinh Mon), carrying his wife, Ms. VTMN, born in 1998.

As a result, Ms. H., her nephew H. and Ms. N. were injured and 3 vehicles were damaged.

Upon receiving the information, the authorities promptly took the injured to the emergency room and ensured traffic flow.

Initial test results showed that the tractor driver, Mr. PNQ, did not violate alcohol concentration.

Authorities are investigating and clarifying the incident.
