To implement the Investment Project to build an interchange connecting National Highway 17B with National Highway 5, Hanoi - Hai Phong railway in Kim Xuyen commune, Kim Thanh district, it is expected to reclaim more than 75,000m2 of land from 138 households.
On the morning of May 3, the Compensation and Resettlement Support Council of Kim Thanh district deployed a plan to recover, investigate, survey, measure, and count land to compensate, support, and resettle organizations and individuals whose land is within the recovery area to implement the Investment Project to build an interchange connecting National Highway 17B with National Highway 5, Hanoi - Hai Phong railway in Kim Xuyen commune.
According to the initial survey, investigation and measurement of Kim Thanh district, it is expected that more than 75,000 m2 of agricultural land in Phuong Due and Quynh Khe 2 villages in Kim Xuyen commune will have to be recovered from a total of 138 households.
At the conference, representatives of families whose land areas were compensated were informed about the project; the land acquisition plan for site clearance; the land acquisition notice and related policies and contents. Most of the families whose land areas were acquired agreed with the project implementation policy. Some households expressed their wish that the implementation of land acquisition, support and compensation policies should be implemented soon; ensuring the highest benefits for the people...
The project to invest in the construction of an interchange connecting National Highway 17B with National Highway 5 and the Hanoi - Hai Phong railway in Kim Xuyen commune is implemented to solve traffic congestion and reduce traffic accidents on National Highway 5; connect the traffic network of Kim Thanh district, Kinh Mon town with National Highway 5 and neighboring districts; gradually complete the traffic route connecting the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway with National Highway 18.
The project also contributes to completing the transport infrastructure system of Kim Thanh district, Kinh Mon town and the province; creating conditions for expanding urban space, promoting socio-economic development.
The project has a total investment of 1,867 billion VND, of which the central budget is 1,000 billion VND and the provincial budget is 867 billion VND. The project implementation period is in the period of 2024 - 2025.
