Specifically, on February 10, a clip of a woman holding her child, crying and asking for help from the online community in front of the Examination Department gate of Children's Hospital 2 was circulated on social networking sites.

In the clip, the woman said she took her child to the hospital for a check-up at around 4:30 a.m. on February 10. While waiting for a car outside the gate, two people asked her for directions, showed her her phone, and then she didn't know anything else. The woman said she was set up as a pickpocket, losing all 9.5 million VND she had saved for her child's medical examination.

This clip received the attention of many social network users and local people.

Upon receiving the information, the Board of Directors of Children's Hospital 2 directed relevant departments to quickly coordinate with Ben Nghe Ward Police, District 1 to extract security cameras and investigate to clarify the case. At the same time, the hospital proactively sought information about the child patient.

After the investigation, Ben Nghe Ward Police informed the hospital. Accordingly, the results of the camera extraction from the hospital and surrounding businesses on February 10 showed that at 4:37 a.m., a woman carrying a baby walked from gate number 4 to Children's Hospital 2.

At 6:18, this woman walked across the street to have breakfast, then returned to the hospital in the area in front of the lobby to wait for examination. At 6:49, she turned on her phone to livestream.

The two continued to stay in the hospital lobby, went out for lunch at 12:37, and returned to the hospital at 1:22.

At 2:08 p.m., the woman and the baby went to gate number 5 and took a motorbike taxi to leave.

Thus, according to Children's Hospital 2, the information the woman shared on social media is completely false. The conclusion from the police confirmed that there was no staged pickpocketing incident in front of the Children's Hospital 2 gate as the woman said.
