On the morning of February 16, the Department of Transport organized a tree planting festival following Uncle Ho's teachings, contributing to protecting road traffic safety corridors.
Accordingly, the unit planted about 2,000 casuarina trees on National Highway 37 on the right side of the route from km 36 to km 36+370 and km 41 to km 41+100 and on the left side of the route from km 40+500 to km 40+700, km 42+800 to km 42+900 in Gia Loc, Tu Ky and Nam Sach districts. After planting, the department will hand over the trees to the Road Management Departments for care.
Planting trees in response to the movement "Planting trees to protect road traffic safety corridors" of the Department of Transport not only creates green landscapes but also contributes to forming protective fences for the roads.
