Below are the notes that candidates need to take after knowing the 2024 university admission scores to ensure admission to the desired university.
According to plan, after the last virtual screening round ends at 5:00 p.m. on August 17, universities will announce the admission benchmark scores for 2024.
By 5:00 p.m. on August 19 at the latest, universities and colleges must complete the announcement of benchmark scores and first round of admission results.
As soon as schools announce the admission scores, candidates need to look up admission information or the admission list on the school's website and confirm admission online on the system according to regulations.
At the same time, the schools will send emails/text messages and admission notices to candidates. Candidates should note that they must complete admission procedures and prepare all documents and records according to the school's instructions.
No later than 5:00 p.m. on August 27, candidates must confirm their admission online for the first round on the system. If they do not complete this step within the specified time limit and without a valid reason, they will be considered as refusing admission.
If due to illness or accident, candidates need a certificate from a district hospital or higher, or if due to natural disaster, they need a certificate from a district People's Committee or higher. At that time, universities will consider deciding to accept candidates or reserve admission results for later admission.
If due to errors or mistakes of the staff performing the admission work or the individual candidates, the training institution will proactively coordinate with relevant individuals and organizations to review the evidence and decide to accept the candidate or reserve the admission results for later admission.
Candidates who have confirmed their admission to a university will not be allowed to apply elsewhere or in additional admission rounds, unless permitted by the training institution. After completing the first round of admission, training institutions will organize registration and additional admission from August 28.
From September to December, schools will review and update the list of successful candidates and enroll according to regulations. By December 31 at the latest, schools must report the 2024 enrollment results.
