Noi Bai and Da Nang airports among the world's top 100 best airports

The world's prestigious aviation rating and ranking organization Skytrax has announced the ranking of the world's top 100 best airports in 2025. In this ranking, Vietnam has two representatives: Noi Bai and Da Nang International Airports under the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV).

Accordingly, Noi Bai International Airport has risen to 79th place, up 17 places compared to 2024 (in 2024 it was ranked 96th). This is the 7th time that Noi Bai International Airport - an important international aviation gateway of Hanoi Capital - has been honored in the prestigious rankings of Skytrax, marking a worthy recognition for the persistent efforts and continuous improvement of the largest airport in the North over the past time.

The year 2024 marks many challenges for Noi Bai International Airport as it must both ensure continuous operations and partially close to construct the T2 Terminal Expansion Project.

In that condition, the port and the units operating here still cherish every small opportunity to improve service quality such as: from renovating passenger service spaces, organizing cultural and artistic activities right at the airport on holidays and Tet, to enhancing the application of information technology in flight operations, implementing the model of coordinating operations at airports and airfields (A-CDM) to increase operational efficiency, improve punctuality index, and save aircraft fuel.

In particular, the implementation of the non-stop toll collection system at all lanes entering and exiting passenger terminals T1 and T2 at Noi Bai International Airport has contributed to creating a smooth and convenient environment for passengers. Reviewing and adding many convenient services such as: phone charging, free wifi, children's play area, child care area; ensuring infrastructure for the disabled; constantly improving the service attitude of frontline staff serving passengers; consolidating and enhancing the activities of the action committee for the quality of passenger service at the airport...

Thanks to proactive and synchronous solutions, Noi Bai International Airport has ensured absolute safety and security for more than 30 million passengers in 2024, while recording strong growth in international visitors in the first quarter of 2025 with many international routes opened, connecting Noi Bai and international destinations.

For Da Nang International Airport, this is the second consecutive time it has been honored in the top 100 best airports in the world announced by Skytrax.

In 2025, Da Nang International Airport will be ranked 84th in this prestigious ranking, up 10 places compared to 2024. This is an important milestone, affirming that the quality of services, infrastructure and passenger experience at Da Nang International Airport is increasingly improving, catching up with international standards.

In addition, on April 9, 2025, within the framework of the World Airport Awards 2025 event held in Spain, Da Nang International Airport continued to affirm its leading position when the T2 International Passenger Terminal maintained its 5-star rating for the second consecutive time according to Skytrax standards.

By 2025, according to Skytrax, there will be only 19 airports and 5 airport terminals in the world that meet Skytrax 5-star standards. With this honor, Da Nang International Airport is constantly striving to maintain quality and further improve service experiences worthy of its title.

“The fact that two major airports under ACV are among the top 100 best airports in the world in 2025 is a source of pride for ACV, affirming that the quality of services, infrastructure and passenger experience at ACV-affiliated airports are increasingly improving, keeping up with international standards,” ACV leaders emphasized.

In the near future, ACV will also inaugurate and put into operation Passenger Terminal T3, Tan Son Nhat International Airport on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 2025). With the upgrade of aviation infrastructure, ACV believes that it will bring many good experiences to passengers when traveling through the unit's affiliated airports.
