Quang Ngai caught the largest drug trafficking case ever

On September 18, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Quang Ngai Provincial Police, announced that the unit had just dismantled the largest drug trafficking ring ever in the province.

Through reconnaissance, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department discovered a number of subjects colluding to form a large-scale drug trafficking and transportation ring from Ho Chi Minh City to Quang Ngai.

To deal with the authorities, the subjects operate with extremely sophisticated and cunning methods and tricks, frequently changing their methods of operation, gathering drugs in many different locations and then reselling them for illegal profits.

Determining this to be a complicated case, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department coordinated with professional units of the Provincial Police to monitor, supervise and arrest Tran Phuoc Duong (23 years old, Son Trung commune, Son Ha district) while transporting 6 kg of drugs cleverly hidden in a can of oat milk.

Continuing to search the house of Tra Van Dong (29 years old, Binh Thanh commune, Binh Son district) - a subject involved in the drug trafficking ring of 6 kg, the authorities seized over 36 grams of ecstasy, over 91 grams of crystal meth and 0.33 grams of Ketamine.

The case is being further investigated by Quang Ngai Provincial Police.
