The Youth and Children's Creativity Contest is an opportunity for Hai Duong students to promote their creativity in various fields.
On the morning of December 16, at Pha Lai High School (Chi Linh City), the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Department of Education and Training, and the Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union jointly launched the 19th Provincial Youth and Children's Creativity Contest (2024-2025).
Speaking at the launching ceremony, a representative of the Department of Education and Training affirmed that the Youth and Children's Creativity Contest aims to awaken the potential and promote the creative thinking of adolescents and children in the whole province, promote the emulation movement of learning and creative work, and is an intellectual playground for students.
Contestants are teenagers and children aged 6-18 who are living, working and studying in the province. Contest solutions are in 5 areas: learning tools; computer software; environmentally friendly products; household appliances and children's toys; environmental protection and economic development.
The prize structure includes: 1 first prize worth 10 million VND; 5 second prizes, worth 7 million VND/prize; 10 third prizes, worth 5 million VND/prize and 20 consolation prizes, worth 3 million VND/prize.
The competition will run from October 2024 to September 2025.
At the launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee of the contest awarded certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to the group of students: Trinh Duc Huy (Pha Lai High School), Dang Hoang Ngoc Linh (Chu Van An Secondary School) and Dang Hoang Long, Nguyen Trung Thanh Long, Nguyen Diem My (Chu Van An Primary School, Chi Linh City) with the model "Creating and preserving the cultural colors of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups using wood, scraps of fabric and paintings". This model won third prize in the 20th National Youth and Children's Creativity Contest in 2024.
This is the second consecutive year that Chi Linh students have had models and products win prizes at the national competition.
In the 18th competition (2023-2024), the organizing committee received 126 models and products and awarded 36 prizes to outstanding products and models.
