Tu Ky High School female student 'slips' the monthly laurel wreath of Road to Olympia 25

Despite her great efforts, female student Ngo Xuan Mai of Tu Ky High School only finished third in the February match of the first quarter of Road to Olympia 25.

The February match of the first quarter of the Road to Olympia 25 competition included four contestants: Vu Viet Hoang (Song Cong High School, Thai Nguyen), Ngo Xuan Mai (Tu Ky High School, Hai Duong), Le Quang Duy Khoa (Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Thua Thien Hue) and Nguyen Bao Gia Linh (High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi).

In the Warm-up round with a separate round of 6 questions and a general round, Duy Khoa started well, scoring 80 points to take the lead. The following group, Viet Hoang had 40 points, Xuan Mai 25 points, Gia Linh had not scored any points.

In the Obstacle Course competition, the unknown number to be found had 11 letters. The first horizontal line chosen had the question: In an equilateral triangle, how many times longer is the radius of the circumscribed circle equal to the height? Viet Hoang and Duy Khoa won points with the answer “2/3”.

The first hint image box was opened, Duy Khoa and Viet Hoang had their turn to ring to solve the mystery. Although the bell rang later, Viet Hoang was the contestant who won the point when he answered correctly "Red flag with yellow star". The male student from Thai Nguyen raised his score to 110, taking the lead. Duy Khoa got 90 points, Xuan Mai and Gia Linh kept their scores the same.

In the Acceleration round, Duy Khoa showed his quickness and accuracy, achieving the maximum score many times. After four acceleration questions, Duy Khoa regained the top position with 190 points, Viet Hoang 180 points, Xuan Mai 55 points, Gia Linh 50 points.

In the Finish Line round, Duy Khoa chose 3 questions with the same value of 20 points. He had a perfect performance, finishing with 250 points.

Duy Khoa quickly gained the advantage in terms of score.

Viet Hoang chose 3 questions worth 20 points each and answered 2/3 questions correctly, but lost the last question to Duy Khoa. He finished with 200 points.

Xuan Mai had the same question package choice as the two previous contestants. Despite her efforts, she only answered the last question correctly to finish with 75 points.

Gia Linh was the last contestant to finish, also choosing 3 questions worth 20 points. She answered the first questions correctly, allowing Xuan Mai to score points on the next questions. She finished with 50 points.

Male student of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted in Hue won the laurel wreath with 270 points

In the final result, Le Quang Duy Khoa won the laurel wreath with a total score of 270.

Vu Viet Hoang came in second with 200 points. Also in third place were Ngo Xuan Mai with 95 points and Nguyen Bao Gia Linh with 50 points.
