On the afternoon of March 10, Hoang Anh Tuan, 11th grade chemistry major, Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted (Hai Duong) came in second in the first round of week 1, March, second quarter of the 24th "Road to Olympia" contest with 245 points.
Joining Hoang Anh Tuan in the weekly round (broadcast on the afternoon of March 10) are Huynh Tran Bao Anh, An Phuoc High School (Ninh Thuan); Nguyen Van Hong Ky, Quang Oai High School (Hanoi); Nguyen Do Quang Hung, Le Quy Don High School (Ho Chi Minh City).
Although he quickly scored points on many questions in the warm-up round, he also answered some questions incorrectly and was deducted points. Anh Tuan ranked third with 35 points, behind Hong Ky with 55 points and Bao Anh with 70 points.

However, in the obstacle course round, right after the first question was answered correctly in row 2, which was “flexibility”, combined with the image of a bronze drum, Anh Tuan successfully deciphered the mystery, which was “bronze”. Thanks to this answer, Anh Tuan broke through and took the lead with 105 points.
In the speed test, Anh Tuan excelled by answering 2 consecutive questions correctly and scoring the remaining 2 questions. With this result, Anh Tuan continued to lead with 215 points.
As the first contestant to complete the final round, Anh Tuan chose the 20-20-20 question package. He answered the first question correctly and rose to 235 points. However, he lost points on the remaining 2 questions, leaving Anh Tuan with only 195 points. Continuing to compete calmly, gaining points on other contestants' wrong answers, Anh Tuan rose to 245 points. With this result, Anh Tuan came in second, behind Bao Anh (280 points).
Mr. Tuan said he felt a bit regretful, but this contest gave him many new emotions and useful knowledge.
Previously, Hoang Anh Tuan had excellently won the laurel wreath of "Road to Olympia" Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted, season V, to represent Hai Duong in the first round of week 1, month 3, quarter 2 of the 24th "Road to Olympia" contest organized by Vietnam Television.
Hoang Anh Tuan is from Cam Giang district and won first prize in the Provincial English Olympiad for Non-Professional Students in the 2022-2023 school year.
