At the University of Economics and Law (VNU-HCMC), as of 3 p.m. on September 8, the number of admitted candidates confirming their admission online on the Ministry of Education and Training's system reached 99.73%. Master Cu Xuan Tien, Head of the Admissions and Student Affairs Department, said that up to this point, the rate of admitted candidates completing admission procedures at the school reached 98.5%. The school will stop accepting candidates to complete admission procedures at noon on September 9.

Many other universities in Ho Chi Minh City also recorded a high rate of candidates completing admission procedures. Professor Nguyen Minh Ha, Principal of Ho Chi Minh City Open University, informed that the school had completed admission procedures on the afternoon of September 8 with a 95% admission rate, meeting the set requirements.

The rate of successful candidates completing admission procedures at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry as of 5 p.m. on September 8 was 92%, equivalent to 2022. Dr. Nguyen Trung Nhan, Head of the Training Department, said that the engineering, business management, and information technology majors achieved good enrollment rates while the traffic construction and environmental engineering majors did not meet their enrollment targets. At Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, the rate of candidates confirming their admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's system reached 102%. As of 5 p.m. on September 8, 89% of admitted candidates completed admission procedures at the school. The school will continue to accept admission applications until September 10 and will accept additional applications until September 15.

Associate Professor Dr. Pham Tien Dat, Principal of the University of Finance and Marketing (Ho Chi Minh City), also believes that by September 9, the deadline for confirming enrollment, the school will have received enough students.
