Fast food lover

There are many types of fast food currently sold on the market that are loved by many young people. From dishes that have been around for a long time such as fried chicken, pizza, tokbokki, kimbap, Korean mixed rice, spicy noodles to new dishes such as "dirty" skewers, sausages, lap xuong... In addition to the above snacks, there are many restaurants and eateries serving regional specialties to meet the needs of young people who love to explore with grilled food, hot pot...

Walking around many food streets in Hai Duong City such as Pham Hong Thai, Truong My, Tue Tinh, Nguyen Van Linh, it is not difficult to see groups of young people happily gathering at restaurants. Chi Linh City also has many food streets with shops that many young people know by heart on Ba Trieu Street, Tran Hung Dao Street and especially the small street along Mat Son Lake with a variety of dishes. "I really like these fast foods. I can eat them every day and wish my family meals were all these dishes", said Nguyen Bao A., 15 years old, in Thai Hoc 1 area, Sao Do Ward (Chi Linh).

Because of the young people's preference for fast food, many parents find it difficult to cook daily meals. Ms. Cu Minh H. in Quyet Thang Street, Binh Han Ward (Hai Duong City) often has a "headache" when thinking of a menu for her family of four's daily meals. Despite trying to diversify the menu, Ms. H.'s two children still show no interest in the dishes their mother cooks.

"Every time they sit down at the table, they say there is nothing to eat even though I cook enough meat dishes and soups. Then they always express their desire to go out to eat at restaurants of their choice. Many times I see them fighting over random dishes with their friends, but at home they eat very little or eat under pressure and pressure from their parents," Ms. H. said sadly.

Not only young people, many families who are too busy with work also choose ready-made food for family meals. Because she often comes home late from work, Ms. Hoang Thanh D. on Vu Van Thanh Street, Thanh Binh Ward (Hai Duong City) often buys ready-made food for dinner. There are 4 people in the family, 2 children eat lunch at school, her husband eats lunch at the company, so Ms. D. only eats quickly or skips meals. In the evening, the whole family has dinner, but she is often too busy to come home early, so she often buys some ready-made food and only has to plug in the rice cooker.

"Sometimes I want to cook for my children, but I usually come home late, so I buy ready-made food for convenience. Only on weekends do I have time to prepare other dishes for my children to have a change of meal," Ms. D. explained.

Home cooked meals connect family

It can be seen that due to the busy nature of work, many families have unintentionally neglected family meals. That meal not only provides nutrition and energy for everyone in the family, but is also a time to connect and foster everyone's feelings. Many people, when they grow up and move out to live, understand that the home-cooked meals cooked by their mother are the most delicious. Because there is the meticulous care of the mother through each dish; there are stories shared...

According to psychologists, many young people today often use the excuse of a busy life to allow themselves to choose fast food and hasty meals. These meals do not fully meet nutritional needs, and many dishes are even unsafe for food hygiene, which will directly affect the health of the user.

The dishes that many young people love are not necessarily suitable for them, but for many young people, it is sometimes just a "trend" or a "show-off" of themselves... There are also a group of young people who "avoid" going home to eat so they don't have to hear their parents remind them about work, study, or early marriage... Many older parents still have the habit of reminding, disciplining their children, even speaking harshly to them during family meals, making the meal heavy and pushing their children away. Gathering and meeting friends at restaurants is also a trend of socializing and making friends for young people today, which also makes them eat less with their families.

Eating at restaurants and eateries attracts many people because of the delicious food, cheerful atmosphere and also an opportunity for housewives to free up their labor. However, family meals still need to be maintained because they symbolize family affection. After a hard day of studying and working, returning home to relatives, gathering around a warm meal with dishes cooked by their own hands will foster love and connection in each family. Cooking is not just a woman's job but a common job for the whole family. The husband and children can also share to make the mother less tired, and the meal will also be more enjoyable.

Mealtime is the best time to connect family members. To make young people love home-cooked meals more, it is necessary to change the diverse menu, so create conditions for young people to help their parents prepare meals...
