Seeing the young girl's pale face, holding her stomach and continuously crying out in pain, the Vietnamese male tourist did not think much, quickly carried the woman on his back, crossed the stone steps to take her to the emergency room.
Recently, the beautiful act of a Vietnamese male tourist helping a young girl in distress in Guizhou province (China) was posted on a number of media channels and newspapers of this country, attracting much attention from the online communities of both countries.
Accordingly, while visiting a beautiful place in Guiyang (Guizhou), a tourist from Vietnam saw a young girl with a pale face, holding her stomach and constantly crying out in pain. The person accompanying her appeared confused and bewildered.
When he learned that she had a stomachache, the Vietnamese male tourist decided to carry her out of the tourist area to find a taxi to take her to the emergency room. Thanks to timely support, the young woman overcame the critical condition and tried to find the identity of the Vietnamese tourist to thank him.
The male tourist in the above story is Mr. Pham Trung Hieu (born in 1988, director of a travel company in Ha Long, Quang Ninh).
Mr. Hieu said the incident happened on February 20, at Thanh Nham ancient town - one of the four famous ancient towns in Guizhou.
Mr. Hieu said that on the way down the slope of this place, he encountered a female tourist in her 20s who was showing signs of instability. This person's face was pale, she kept holding her stomach and complaining of pain. Her friend seemed flustered and confused.
Mr. Hieu quickly approached and asked in Chinese, but the girl was in so much pain that she couldn't speak.

Faced with an emergency situation, the Vietnamese male tourist did not think much and decided to carry the girl to the gate to find a taxi to take her to the hospital for emergency treatment.
“I am 1m7 tall and weigh 73kg, while the girl weighs nearly 50kg, so moving around was not difficult. Not to mention, I exercise regularly so my physical condition is good. However, because the distance was more than 1km, with many steep, high, and winding steps, I gradually lost strength.
When I got close to the gate, about a few hundred meters away, I was almost exhausted, my arms, legs and back were so tired that I couldn't walk anymore, so I had to ask my Chinese partner to help me and help the female tourist out," Hieu recounted.
He revealed that although the weather was quite cold at that time, around 5 degrees Celsius, he was still drenched in sweat. “During the journey carrying the girl, climbing thousands of stone steps, I had to rest 4 times to regain strength and breath, it took about 30-40 minutes to get to the taxi stop.”
Returning to the hotel, Mr. Hieu was contacted and interviewed by a Chinese reporter after learning about the incident. This reporter also shared with him about the current health status of the female tourist.
“Luckily, he arrived at the hospital in time and did not encounter any serious problems. Through the reporter, he sent us his sincere thanks,” Mr. Hieu shared.

Mr. Hieu admitted that he was very happy and touched when his actions were known and widely spread, inspiring many people.
"I didn't think my small action would be noticed so much. In a situation where someone needed help like that, I think anyone would do the same as me," Hieu shared.
