A taxi driver attacked a Noi Bai Airport Security officer while he was on duty regulating traffic at Passenger Terminal T2.
Specifically, at 10:20 this morning, September 1, while on duty to maintain traffic on the 3rd floor of Passenger Terminal T2, employee Duong Minh Hai, Security Team controlling the car parking lot, discovered taxi company 123, license plate 30A - 216.89, parked beyond the prescribed time and illegally exploited passengers.
In accordance with his duties, employee Duong Minh Hai reminded the taxi driver not to stop and asked him to move the car out of the 3rd floor area. However, the taxi driver not only did not comply but also acted defiantly, then used a screwdriver to stab Duong Minh Hai's elbow, causing it to scratch and bleed.
Mr. Hai quickly notified the support units, but the driver immediately drove away. Mr. Hai's wound was bandaged and taken to Soc Son General Hospital for examination, and his health is now stable.
The case was handed over to Noi Bai International Airport Police Station for investigation and handling according to the law.
After the incident, Soc Son District Police were present at Noi Bai International Airport Police Station, contacted Taxi Company 123 to verify the subject's information and prepare a case file.
Noi Bai International Airport continues to coordinate with police forces to provide relevant information and coordinate the handling of the incident.
