The man found dead in a ditch in Nam Sach was the secretary of a party cell in Chi Linh.

After investigation, authorities identified Mr. Vu Duc N., born in 1962, in Dong Lac ward (Chi Linh city) as the person who died in a ditch in Nam Tan commune (Nam Sach).

Mr. N. has been the Party Secretary of Mac Ngan residential area, Dong Lac ward for about 20 years.

On August 8, Mr. N. returned to Nam Hung commune to visit some carpenter friends there. On the way home, the incident happened.

Through security camera footage in Nam Tan commune, the incident occurred at around 9:30 p.m. on August 8, when Mr. N. fell into a ditch and died. The road where the incident occurred is a right-angle curve.

At 10:05 p.m. on August 8, a passerby discovered a dead person in a ditch in Nam Tan Commune, without any identification papers on him. Nam Sach District Police coordinated with the District People's Procuracy to carry out procedures in accordance with the law and provide information on the victim's identification characteristics.
