Accordingly, customers can register to buy SJC gold bars at the desired location and receive appointment confirmation with information about the location, payment time and delivery of SJC gold bars without having to come directly to queue and get a transaction number.

Vietcombank reminds customers that from today, June 12, this bank will only provide SJC gold bar sales service to customers who have registered to buy SJC gold bars online on Vietcombank's website. The time to register to buy SJC gold bars online every day (except for holidays and public holidays according to regulations) is from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The time for payment and delivery of gold at Vietcombank's SJC gold bar sales points is from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

After registering to buy SJC gold bars online, customers need to go to the transaction location according to the address and time frame in the appointment confirmation. In case, the customer does not come to the transaction more than 30 minutes after the appointment time, Vietcombank will cancel the appointment confirmation to serve the next customer.

Gold price is the price listed by Vietcombank at the time of payment and delivery of gold bars at Vietcombank locations.

According to Vietcombank, this solution brings convenience, speed, safety and security to customers because from now on, customers can use personal electronic devices (smartphones, tablets, personal computers, etc.) to register to buy SJC gold bars, without having to wait in line to get a number; saving time collecting information; all customer information is only used for SJC gold bar purchase transactions when customers come to Vietcombank's SJC gold bar sales points.

To register to buy SJC gold bars online, customers need to access Vietcombank's official website athttps://www.vietcombank.com.vn...and select “Register Online” right on the home screen. Log in with your personal information following the instructions on the screen.

Next, select the service “Register to buy SJC gold bars”; select the location, time frame for payment and delivery of SJC gold bars, and the desired amount of gold to order. Finally, the customer checks, confirms the information and receives the service registration result with “Confirm appointment”.

Previously, at Vietcombank and SJC gold bar transaction points of 4 state-owned commercial banks participating in selling gold directly to people, people lined up from 3-4am to get numbers to buy gold.

In order to reduce the burden on sales points and serve customer needs, Vietcombank has opened 4 more SJC gold bar sales points for people. Of which, 2 points in Hanoi are Vietcombank Thanh Cong (No. 1 Thai Ha, Trung Liet Ward, Dong Da District) and Vietcombank Chuong Duong (No. 564 Nguyen Van Cu, Gia Thuy Ward, Long Bien District); 2 points in Ho Chi Minh City are Vietcombank Ky Dong (No. 13-13 Bis Ky Dong, Ward 9, District 3) and Vietcombank Tan Binh (No. 108 Tay Thanh, Tay Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District).

Along with 6 points of sale operating since June 3, Vietcombank currently has 10 points of sale for SJC gold bars in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the most among the 4 banks providing this service.

Similarly, from June 11, the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) also opened two more SJC gold bar selling points in Hanoi located at Agribank Ha Tay Branch - No. 2, Vu Trong Khanh Street (Ha Dong) and Agribank Cau Giay Branch - No. 99 Tran Dang Ninh (Cau Giay). However, the State Bank also said that false information is currently being spread about the State Bank lacking gold to sell. At many gold selling points, there are people who hire people to queue up to buy gold with the aim of pushing up prices, profiting from the difference, causing market instability and causing damage to the economy.

The State Bank is coordinating with the police to verify and strictly handle acts of speculation and market manipulation. Along with maintaining the supply of SJC gold bars to meet the legitimate and legal needs of the people, the State Bank will also proactively deploy solutions to strongly combat the phenomenon of speculation and hoarding.

In addition, inspections to clarify any violations, if any, of credit institutions and enterprises with gold trading activities are also being urgently and resolutely implemented, especially in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
